My brother and nephew are at the NRA convention in Indy...would anyone be kind enough to ID the weapon my nephew is handling?

Looks like the M240 MG made by FN MAG.

The predecessor was a MAG 58.

7.62 belt fed MG.

Replaced the M60 MG

Ohio Ordnance Works M240-SLR. And you can buy one: LINK (http://www.ohioordnanceworks.com/rifles/semi-auto/oow-line/m240-slr.html)

My wife and I went on Friday and talked to one of the employees for several minutes. I'm a big fan of their semi-auto 1919A3 BAR (LINK (http://www.ohioordnanceworks.com/rifles/semi-auto/oow-line/1918a3-slr-walnut-stock.html)). Damn fun gun to shoot.

All of their creations are outside my price range for purchase but I love the work they do.

I'm still an M-60 kinda guy, but I wouldn't sweat the small stuff over having a 240B either.:)
