Kennedy just won in 5 rounds by unanimous decision. His ground game was the definite edge on the better striker Bisping but Tim held on own on the stand up game. Tim showed great class at the end of the fight - said he threw his hardest punches on Bisping but he took every shot. (there was a lot of trash talking prior to this fight - primarily by Bisping).

Kennedy was the #8 Middleweight with Bisping being the #5 (Kennedy was the underdog -170 in the Vegas odds). It's his 3 win in the UFC.

It was a GREAT fight. I think Tim realized tonight that he needs to work his cardio more as he was huffing and puffing quite a bit. With more cardio he'll do even better. That's the one thing with guys with a lot of muscle, you have to feed the muscle and it takes lots of oxygen to do that.

It was a good fight. Tim did gave a great ground and grappling game. Tim controlled him in round three, 80% of it was on the ground. With Bisping on his back. I did get worried on the fifth round. Tim played it safe and by my round count, or better strike count, Tim was a few about Bispling. Wish atom won by a submission in the third round. Great fight for Tim, happy for his win. Can't wait for more fights as he moves along.

Probably was to early. MMA and UFC Homepages will have it today. But likely not the full fight.

Tim used a lot of horsepower and fuel keeping control of Bisping on the ground.
Tough fight, Well done.

Excellent fight if you are a TK fan. While watching I was concerned with TK and his lack of punching. During a post fight interview, TK stated he broke his hand in the first round. That explains his lack of punching, yet still TK pretty much dominated an excellent fighter in Bisbing.

It was a great fight. Bispling is tougher than I thought. Why did they go 5 rounds? I thought 5 rounders were for championship fights.

So Tim broke is hand. I did not hear that, but it was hard to for me to understand what they were saying at the end of the fight.

Both fighters were huffing and puffing, but I think it was more about the third round being especially grueling and incredibly tiring, as opposed to them not working on their cardio.

I wish Tim would develop and use a left jab more. His punches are either an overhand right, a right uppercut or a left hook. Don't get me wrong, those are nice punches, but why not a nice left jab to keep the other guy off balance and create space?

Enjoyed seeing Bispling lose.

Tim has a set of whiskers and good power in his legs and his hands aren't heavy but decent. He is needs to be confident with his striking his grappling is top notch but many more grinding fights he will get the boot in the future. UFC doesn't care how good he is it is a spectator sport period excitement sells not skill Dana White has proven ths over and over, Tim just doesn't have St Pierres mystique and can't pull the world class grappling off without a more aggressive striking game.
