Social media antics can ruin career, misrepresent military services

I can't find the older posts covering Pfc. Tariqka Sheffey. Well SMA Raymond Chandler released this through his Facebook page.

"People make mistakes" yes we do, but when a person continues to jack themselves up what more can you do.

Sorry I feel nothing will be done to the now flag saluting female soldier because this soldier is a FEMALE and African-American. So race and gender will play into decision, because of the national level impacts. I see, from what is also being reported, that the right thing will not be done as far as punishment of Pfc. Tariqka Sheffey.

03-15-2014 BREAKING UPDATE: We have learned from the Colorado Springs Gazette that this disgraceful woman will NOT receive a court martial, nor a dishonorable discharge. Not even close. They are reporting she may receive “verbal counseling”. What a disgrace. The Army is no place for someone who disrespects our flag. We will provide more details tomorrow after we speak to the base commander. -Gina

This it's utter BS and this is sending the wrong message across the board!!
