CBS News' Investigative Correspondent Sharyl Attkisson, known during the Obama administration for her work on Solyndra, Benghazi and Operation Fast and Furious, has resigned from her position at the network.

Her forthcoming book, ambiguously titled, "Stonewalled: One Reporter's Fight for Truth in Obama's Washington" should do good.
I wish her well.
I hope her taxes are in order and I am guessing that Fox News has already interviewed her. This article can give us all at least a glimmer of hope that not all MSM reporters are just carrying water for the Obama administration.
It's getting close to the time when the press will start focusing the attention away from the current administration and onto the Clintons.
Her book will probably get dusty real quick.
Sounds racist, anyway.

I had to laugh when I read that some people at CBS were concerned that she had an agenda. You know you're lost when you're worried about one case of bias while ignoring the dozens of other CBS employees that are biased in the other direction.

Somebody hollered, "Change step...." gave the command of execution and she gave them the finger. In that biz they probably call that amicable terms.

Haha I was going to post the same thing. Well anyways good for her.

Echoes of Edward R. Murrow in Sharyl Attkisson's departure from CBS News

"CBS News has lost its strongest claim to be a fair and non-partisan news source with the departure of Sharyl Attkisson from the network. The award-winning reporter has been squeezed-out because of her reporting on investigative themes inconvenient to the Obama administration, including Fast and Furious and the Benghazi Scandal – two incidents in which United States government officials lost their lives. In 2013, her total air time on the CBS Evening News was a mere 53 minutes, a third of her air time prior to the Obama administration, when she reported on scandals involving Republicans. In the words of network news analyst Andrew Tyndall, “She was obviously being sidelined.”
What makes Attkisson’s departure a scandal, however, is an obvious conflict of interest at CBS News that directly impacted Attkisson’s access to air time. John Nolte of Breitbart News reported yesterday....."
The rest of the article makes for interesting reading.

Good read, thanks for that.
Sheila Jackson-Lee, a living, breathing indictment of the public school system.
But, there is a counter argument presented by Johnathan Kozel in his book "The Shame of a Nation", which examines the structural racism in public education.
Kozel position is the American educational system has reverted to its pre-1954 past condition of separate, but equal standards that were enshrined in Ferguson v. Plessy, the SC held that position until the landmark decision in Brown v Board of Education.
Although Kozel indictment of the American education system is racist, he examines the issue in tis totality, as a social system failure, inclusive of parenting, home, socio-economic conditions, etc., its an interesting read regardless of your political POV.
