I came across this on a shooters forum that I frequent. Makes me glad I do not live in the DC area. The prosecutor is the one that let David Gegory the newsman slide on the illegal magazine he possessed in DC.

“Prosecutors determined that going after David Gregory for possession of an illegal ammunition magazine ‘would not promote public safety nor serve the best interests of the people of D.C.,’” Mr. Witaschek said, referring to the letter of explanation Mr. Nathan sent the lawyer for NBC and Mr. Gregory.

Hey, it's DC...

...one shotgun shell in your pocket and you might get prison time...leave an Ambassador to die along with 3 other American heroes...

It all started because of a disgruntled ex-wife who filed a restraining order...but settled for cash payment and remaining on the husband's health insurance.
