EOTECH 552/551 Laser Battery Cap

I'm looking for a laser for a carbine. Not state of the art mil spec black ops SEAL gear. Just a GOOD one that will take a beating and have good battery life..

Did anyone get a chance to play with the new EOTECH LBC at the SHOT SHOW??

Suggests for a home defense rifle,, given it will probably have an EOTECH or Aimpoint optic??

Take a look at the Burris offerings (http://swfa.com/Burris-Laser-Devices-C2674.aspx [FYSA, not a purchasing recommendation]) . DVOR occasionally offers them at passable prices. Unfortunately Burris' pro discount program is only for AD and LEO; nothing for retired.
