Didn't the Feds pitch a hissy fit when the Brits let the Libyan go that blew up the flight over Lockerbie? Seems we can't keep our story line consistent. She should have rotted in jail.
Just start letting it slip that she was really a CIA contractor and was selling out her clients. Maybe her 'friends' will solve the problem for us.
She should have rotted in jail.
Agreed.
She aided terrorists and hence became an enemy to our nation.
IMO, the compassionate release program would be better served by limiting itself to terminally ill convicts that were not involved in violent crimes - and certainly not crimes against the nation.
At least Barry didn't grant her a presidential pardon...providing material support to terrorists generally seems like a lock the door and throw away the key type of crime -- but that's just me.
ETA: I just reread what I wrote...and generally stand by it...but in these unusual times I realize that an "enemy of the state" designation might be a bit fluid...given the Valerie Jarrett and Eric Holder's of this administration...these are indeed interesting times.
At her age the ten year sentence could have very well been a death sentence. At the least she should face house arrest and should not be allowed complete freedom.

I'd cap her.
Wait a few months and you'd be doing her a favor.

El Megrahi lived 3 years after he was released. She should die in prison.

I would agree excepting that I've had several women close to me die of breast cancer. It's not a nice death. And it tends to adversely impact everyone around the victim. Long term care is prohibitively expensive without excellent insurance. Right now the taxpayer is footing that bill. I would rather see her and those who support her (and her "causes") carry that load. (Though that might be a bit naïve given what I'm sure is cult hero status among progressives.)
I'm not worried she'll die out of prison. She will die, fairly soon, it won't be pleasant, and we won't have to pay for it. In this case I can only conclude that karma is a bitch.
Who says we won't pay for it if she gets out?
She set up her own circumstances.

It's probably a little late but does it need transport?
