This is an interesting idea, which I'm sure will go nowhere, but it'd be nice to have a voice in a liberal dominated state.

A pipe dream that will never happen.
There have been plenty of others who have called for a more fair distribution of the tax dollars in this state. The people in the eastern and northern counties don't like seeing their tax dollars wasted in the large cities on the coast.
Could you imagine the problems with water distribution? haha
I agree. Seems like the investor wants to eliminate the distribution of wealth to the less wealthy areas of the state. I want more guns, so I'm for it, so long as Placer County becomes it's own state. His proposal puts Placer County in the same state as Marin, Napa, and Sonoma counties.

Ok; San Diego, Imperial, Orange and Riverside counties would become Southern California. San Bernardino county north to about Tahoe including the Sierras and the San Joaquin valley would become East California. The northern counties would become North California and from LA up the coast to and including the Bay Area would become The Peoples Republik of Kalifornia. :D
