Excellent article. It amazes me how common sense has been thrown out of our public schools with their "zero tolerance" policies. Every day, you read stories of students who have attempted to protect themselves from bullies, or even just do the right thing and try to intervene when they see a weaker kid being bullied, and THEY are the ones who get punished.
Yes, an excellent article indeed. I was raised with the Golden Rule and to never "pick" on other kids and to never start fights. But I was also told that if someone lays a hand on me with bad intent, the gloves (or "civility" in such case) come off. But that was back in the 60s and early 70s. Today children are told that "...violence never solves anything." Well, sometimes that is just what is called for to put an end to a predator's (or bully's) violence.

I may be posting something that everyone already knows, but, here goes. In the 60s is was decided, by the radicals, that they had to take over the education system to bring change about from within. Thus became the subversion and crap you see now. Step back and see where all the 60s radicals are now, they are in places of "higher" education and have been there for years. This produces an "in breeding" of more professors and educators that are bent in this direction.
Yes, there are those that are not, but, as you can see, there are many more that are and preach the liberal gospel as the "way". It is destroying this country from within.
Why zero tolerance? It alleviates the need to make a decision. Now the administrators can say, "our hands are tied" and auto pilot decisions become the norm. You are used to them and no one fights them. More and more zero tolerance and suddenly you have a dictatorship.
I am sure I will have a few jump on this, but take a look at what is happening.
Frankly, LR1947, I don't care who "jumps" on it. I agree with you 100%. But it started long before the 1960s. You can thank the socialist Dewey and his ilk - and that goes back to the late 1920s - early 1930s. My opinion anyhow.
LR. 100% and the subversion movement and the behind the senses goings on that how be going on in America. Most don't see if going on and can't see the indicators over time. Yet what can be done, who will "jumps" on it?
If you take the military children as a nucleus for role models, yet the numbers within the military are too low. Also the numbers that could be role models are even fewer.

While the initial in roads were in the 1920s, in the 60s, a majority of the college professors, just as the Hollywood elite, were mid road to right side conservative. That was the bitch from people such as Bill Ayers and his ilk. Do not remember who wrote it, but believe it to be Ayers, he stated "that to change we must become the teachers". At that point, a great number of the radicals became professors at those few Universities that did not bounce left wingers and spread out from their with teaching credentials and a seemingly mid road to slightly left lean. Once tenure was attained, they came "out of the closet" and started preaching crap. This spread and the change was solid by the early 70s and has been inbreed ever since.
What I have observed directly. Remember, up until the early 70s every school said the pledge and had a moment of silence. As the lefties took over more and more morons were produced and believed the BS of the Progressive left stating that the pledge, the National Anthem, prayer, were all divisive. This was the beginning of their inroads and they saw success, it is now spreading even more with the zero tolerance crap that is actually a form of dictatorship and censorship. It is perfect for those that have zero leadership skills and cannot make a decision they must stand by, thus accept blame for after the fact.
Sorry, off rant, this shit really pisses me and the libs try hard to bury it under BS misdirection with circular arguments.
