This article is the English translation from an article in Wenweipo, a pro-Communist media, published on 8th July 2013
It has some good food for thought.

Some huge assumptions and dreams by a Chinese nationalist and you know what they say about assumptions.

Yes BIG assumptions, but that is military think tanks for you.

I will say that these two "wars" are more likely in some form in China's future.

The 2nd War: “Reconquest” of Spratly Islands

The 4th War: “Reconquest” of Diaoyu Island and Ryukyu Islands

Because of what is currently going in the East China Sea

As far as the Unification of Taiwan. This will never happen, the U.S., let alone the IC will not just sit back and watch.

Big assumptions have led to war in the past, especially when one side shows weakness reinforcing those assumptions.

Just had a discussion this morning about the number of Chinese types working for contractor companies in and around critical facilities. Whether they actually pull it off or not, they sure do have the people in place.

Man FlagDayNCO I'm going way off topic, but what you bring up is important IMO. This is a Hugh pandora box of contractors and Chinese economic espionage. Chinese economic espionage is a big problem worldwide, especially in free world trade and all that. Google the China engineer/scientist/educator Dr. Xuesen from the 1940's, explains a lot of how over time you can change, influence, and subvert a system, country, social thinking, etc.

Research this. Look at China's deep dives into semantic data science to deal with the cyber stealing harvest and other influx of data not just in the USA, but elsewhere. Keeping to their roots, it's very Sun Tsu in philosophy. What is more dangerous is how they are employing an aided ecosystem as apart of their economic espionage/ sabotage. For old timers, IMO they are going along the lines of COL John Boyd's OODA loop process. Chinese have observation and orientation down to a science, and now are working the decision and action parts aggressively in many places. For you AFRICOM people; look at What, Where and How China is conducting it self there. Not their military, the Chinese economic and business sectors.

Then there is the big question of weather China's industrial cyber espionage is harms the US economy. Heck we know how their CYBERCOM shuts down US military bases and the Government almost monthly.
