Great video, TS. The only problem is the Good Samaritan needs some more CQB training to improve his accuracy. 5 shots and he's still alive. We need to send him a couple of boxes of ammo.
The Original Oyster House ( his first robbery venue) is a Mobile- based 3d Force Recon Co. hangout. If he'd showed up there on a boy's night out....

Adric....
If Obama had a son...Right. Will never be said though because it sounds (to my ear) as if this won't rise to the "cracker" level based on the participants involved.
Betting store-cam video to surface in 3....2....

The "gansta, I'm so tough", pose in his mugshot is telling about this character. His mother actuallty said, the guy should have walked away and let the robbery happen because he was not at gunpoint himself when he walked in the store he should have gotten in his car and driven away to do another errand... wtf, she ought to be jailed for being a friggin idiot and a danger to society for raising the kid to think that way.
6.25 months and I won't be in a high population zone any more.... less chance of meeting idiots like this family.

It's nice to hear the Good Samaritan was able to successfully neutralize the threat; and, it's very good to hear his side of the story in that he 1) had legally carried CCW for four years, 2) tried to get the perp first to stand down, 3) engaged the target only when necessary, and 4) that he has been training with his firearm for years.
Samaritan's target acquisition seems fine -- the perp was hit five times. I wonder what the shot group looked like.
"They [criminals] tend to think they're the only ones with guns.... It's good to have concealed carry even though you never know when you're going to need it."
I have a Florida CCW ... unfortunately it's no good here in the People's Republic of California.

May God Bless that Good Samaritan with a handgun - society needs more like him.
That thug POS and family seem to be in dire need of a reality check.

I believe it said. "Fired 5 shots." Number of hits? And the clown is still alive, no mention of life support... But good work, nonetheless! The GM had never pulled the trigger on a bad guy before. He'll do better next time!
BTW, I really like your new avatar. A Space Ranger! Holy Buck Rogers!

Thanks, Beef! Yah .... I'm a bonafide "Space Cadet!"
Later in the report the reporter states the robber was hit five times -- I'm not certain if the reporter interpolated #shots = #hits, or if the robber/scum-bag was actually hit five times.
I'll bet Good Samaritan was shooting a 9mm.

Stupid criminal, and from his family, I can see he inherited it.
I guess they would have been okay with young Sonny executing the store staff as the CCW holder drove away.
All of the perp's family should be removed from any government benefits they might be collecting.
The shooter should get a reward. Well done, sir, I just wish you had put more hits in the A Zone.

Easy targets as they usually have a very limited staff....like a convenience store almost.

If I run the risk of spending 15 years in prison for armed robbery I think I'd pick a business that has a lot of cash on hand at any given time. When I think of businesses that have lots of cash on hand dollar stores don't come to mind. I guess I wouldn't make a good criminal.

Perhaps the good Samaritan should pay the family a visit as well.... Where is Jesse J. and the other turd? Shouldn't they be down there race baiting or something? Racist gun keeps a brother from working.....
I think and therefore wouldn't make a good criminal.
Fixed it for you.

My wife actually runs a dollar store that just happened to be robbed last night. She was not there, thankfully.
At about 9 pm, with no customers in the store, and three employees (which is a lot for dollar stores at that time of night), three men, one of them armed, walked into the store wearing masks and robbed the place. As luck would have it, the video system is down and won't be fixed until after Thanksgiving. The three men stole the contents of the safe, to include all the change, and the contents of the cash drawers. They wanted the top safe as well (where all of the drops go), but that's on a timer. These geniuses decided to have the manager set the timer and then they kidnapped all of the employees, taking them for a ride in their car, leaving the store unattended for about ten minutes. By the time they got back, there were still no customers, and they had missed the allotted time to open the safe. They decided not to stick around for another shot at that money. All in all, they made off with just over $1500 in cash and change. Split three ways that's $500 per person. Not a lot for 15 years in prison if caught. Of course, now the police have a description of these idiots car. Knowing my wife's employees, they probably don't have the license plate number to go with it, though.
Dollar stores are easy targets. For the people of that neighborhood, $500 would get them what they need. Their philosophy is just keep robbing places as the need for money comes up. Sooner or later they will be caught.
When she go the call she said she hoped she wouldn't have to go in there. I said, if you do, I'm going, too, and I'm not going without my weapon.
My wife works one of the "Ask a Nurse" phone lines. It once had the Dollar General account. You would not believe the frequency of employee and customer in-store injuries these stores generate. I would dare say that it rivals commercial fishing or logging for hazardous employment.
We will not go near one!

...and then they kidnapped all of the employees, taking them for a ride in their car, leaving the store unattended for about ten minutes.15 yrs would be light when you factor this in. Which means, if caught, nowadays they'll probably get 3-5, suspended for pre-trial time served, and 80 hrs of community organi.... er, service.
Odds are that the idiot gunman's family will sue the good Samaritan. That is one jury I would like to be on!!!
