"WASHINGTON — U.S. agencies collected and shared the personal information of thousands of Americans in an attempt to root out untrustworthy federal workers that ended up scrutinizing people who had no direct ties to the U.S. government and simply had purchased certain books............."

Government bureaucrat #1: reviewing report on citizen xXx : "It say's here that he attends church (not a mosque), served in the military, owns his own business, is Caucasian, argues for limited government, is for lower taxes, enhanced border security, he's against blanket am-nasty, is a Life Member of the NRA and respects the 2nd Amendment...ahhh, some interesting metadata, too...look at those ammo purchases...and...he signed up online for that advanced carbine class...look, look, he was on a Tea Party web site...look at those emails...says he's against surprise, unsupported warrantless searches of his home...damn, what has he got to hide...an innocent person shouldn't have to worry about a random house search...SPLC says that type of combination has a high probability of being unworthy...

Government bureaucrat # 2: "Should we tee this prick up for audit?"

Government bureaucrat #1: "We could just send in the drones !?"
