Piece of crap from a "Bush's Fault" dude.

Thought? The Military repeats itself on a 10 year repeating cycle.

The 20 year war cycle and the 10 year military policy cycle intersect at various ups and downs to create "new ideas" from the new kids who haven't seen the full cycle yet.

The wars change, but the bad decisions and policy influences are common.

The idea that our military is controlled by civilian leadership, causes much of the policy changes, that result in bad decisions for the troops. No, I don't want a military dictatorship, but the Generals need to man up and hold their ground when it comes to fighting a war.

Oh yeah, there hasn't been a WAR in several years. All these people want to make the military appear and act sweet is dangerous. Hugs and cuddles for everyone. Unleash the dogs of war and be done with it.

The question is NEVER "can" we learn from our mistakes.

The question is always "will" we learn from our mistakes.
