I'm shocked and saddened that progressive agricultural reformers committed to achieving social justice and socialist democracy would illegally modify (because if Fienstein, Kennedy, Kerry and Dean say its bad, then every correct-thinking highly evolved moral person must agree it is) evil assault weapon guns ('shudder') in order to defend the downtrodden working people of Columbia against the 'selected' George W. Bush and his internationally irresponsible gang of rich fat-cat thugs and the "Administration of Privilege". Truly I am.
When I think of the Columbian children that will die in needless gun violence because of the despicable NRA I'm am only kept from despair by knowing that the pure nobility of Bill Clinton still exists. His far-sighted 1994 Assault Weapons Ban could save those Columbian children!

Ok, that's it. I'm introducing a bill into the Colombian Supreme Court to have the name of the country officially changed to Columbia and the people changed from Colombians to Columbians.

You would be even more shocked if you read through what the ar15.com crowd had to say on that thread.
My personal favorite was on another thread, when the Mod (brouhaha) had some choice comments about SOCNET:

I had a pistol, .38, with the numbers taken off exactly like that. When I realized what it was, I threw it down.
