Comedy Zone? It was Governor Ronald Reagan of California who signed the Mulford Act in 1967, "prohibiting the carrying of firearms on one's person or in a vehicle, in any public place or on any public street." The law was aimed at the Black Panthers but affected all gun owners.

Yes, Reagan also supported an Assault Weapons Ban...

Regan did NOT sign the assault weapon ban in 1989/90 era for California.

BS2004 didn't say he did - I think he was referring to the support of the Brady initiatives which began during the Reagan presidency after his attempted assassination in 1981 and came into effect later during the Clinton Administration.
