Ms Kim's friend was the secret mistress of Kim Jong-il, Kim Il-sung's son. And, knowing about their relationship and accused of "gossiping," she was sent to the infamous Yodok prison camp – along with her parents and son, who were deemed guilty by association.
"I had no idea that that existed," she said. "I felt so betrayed.
"When you enter the camp, the first thing you are told is that you deserve to be dead, but by the benevolence of Kim Il-sung you are alive."
I'll bet that basketball puke didn't find that on his itinerary.
