I figured I might try to roll out a campaign for Potus??

My position is HARD core conservative Right Winger that believes in the bed rock of humanity .
Fed Flintstone will be my running mate.
Maybe get AL to do some hats & T's??

Politicians are like diapers. They need to be changed frequently, and for the same reason. :D
Make sure you have an Army of Lawywers to get thru the red tape. Also about $100,000 to throw away. Here is the story of one young guy who gave it a good shot.

Also, there is the unbelievable regulatory and bureaucratic burden: I had to report to 3 different regulatory bodies at the federal level (the US House, the FEC, and the fine folks at the IRS), and some of these bodies have reporting requirements that are different from each other, opaque, and impossible for even the most honest of men to navigate successfully without a team of lawyers and tax attorneys standing behind you. (Compromised politicians can afford such expertise, since they accept money from special interests, which I refused to do at the outset.)
Interestingly, these three agencies which stand as the gatekeepers between you and a potential term in Congress representing your fellow Americans, are not mentioned in the Constitution. The Constitution is quite clear about the requirements of running for the House of Representatives or the Senate, and these agencies aren't a part of those requirements.
