Will Syria be the next Libya?
Let's hope so! If one thing recent history has shown, the muslim nations are incapable of self-governing. Once the tyranical central government is deposed - sectarian fighting begins and it devolves from there. If all foreign business interest pull out there will be no economy, no trade, and they will become tribal once again. Works for me. :D

From what I see a lot of Muslim populated countries in N. Africa and W Asia will be governed just like Afghanistan is governed on a bad day. I don't think the US has the resources to counter this trend in all of the unstable countries in the area. If the King in Saudia Arabia dies just how stable will that country be? There are just too many conflicting ethnic groups, Muslin sects, and religions in the are that will not accept the exsistance of the other groups.

The only problem being that Libya has oil, which the terrorist groups are apparently selling to finance their world-wide "jihad". New info from the Washington Free Beacon (as well as JihadWatch). Apparently our military are going to send SF advisors to train the Libyan "police"????? Are they crazy or what? More chances for good men to get killed training the enemy? Our "leaders" have explained that this will be risky. Yeah? No shit. Not for your sorry asses.
It saddens me every time I read another entry in TAPS where a good SF soldier has died in Afghanistan from an IED. Why? I know a good soldier goes where he is told and performs to the best of his abilities under lets just say, less than advantageous conditions. (I remember stories of Civil War soldiers the night before a battle where they were to advance on an entrenched position, quietly and calmly sewing strips of paper or cloth with their names and family information on the inside of their uniform jackets.) I just can't see the waste, especially in this case, where our men are automatically the enemy. Remember all of the "friendly fire" situations on "Western" soldiers, Americans, as well as others, in Afghanistan?
I don't know what the answer is in these islamic hell-holes; but IMHO they are not worth the life of a single American soldier. OBummer and his ilk f&%@ed up Libya! Let them go fix it. (Sorry for the rant. I'm just incensed at this crap.) :(:confused:
