Gee, most of those aircraft flew around the ceiling of my bedroom when I was a youngster. Never heard of the TDN, though.

Lived in West Michigan my entire life and never knew they had aircraft carriers on the Great Lakes during WWII. Thanks for posting these.

Cool.

There have been a number of WW II U.S. Navy aircraft raised from the Great Lakes and being that they were in fresh water and not salt water they are usually in much better condition and more easily restored.
