I learned about this book while listening to the Adam Carolla Podcast, SSG Lewis was featured on the show a little while ago promoting his new book Love Me When I'm Gone. I bought it from Amazon and read it the next week and I was very impressed and inspired by this book.

"The true story of life, love and loss for a Green Beret in post-9/11 war"

It had been hard for me to find a book about a Green Beret's time in service, there are plenty of SEAL books and plenty of books focusing on a particular operation...but this is the only book I have found about a SF soldiers time in service.

The book is everything I wanted, and that is the insider account of life as a modern Special Forces soldier. I recommend this book to any SF Candidate or veteran, or anyone else really. I was interested through 100% of the whole book as he tells of his highschool years, Germany, Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Incredible book! Please check it out, you wont regret it!

Here is the website for the book.
