Every report I see on the NSA phone records issue talks about cell phones. What about land lines?

Has anyone seen any report that specificly EXCLUDES land line bill records from the NSA sweep?

Our Land Lines have been transmitted through the air for many years. When I lived in Europe as a CIV, I recall a news article that the NSA couldn't spy on American Citizens CONUS. The article correctly noted that microwave and other towers were used to transmit long distance phone calls everywhere, to include State-to-State within CONUS. Somewhere in the UK was a listening site that could pick up all sorts of signals bouncing around the clouds.

Think about your home Land Line... is it a cord-less phone?

Time to buy some Forever Stamps from USPS.

NSA doesn' get much info from my wife's conversation on either the cell or land line-wireless phones. JMHO a moot point.

Still a breech of the 4th.
