NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The word in New England on Tuesday was “Tebow.”
The next day it was all about “spirituality.”
Coincidence? Not at all.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft said Wednesday that Tim Tebow’s faith-based makeup was a factor in deciding to bring the quarterback into the fold.
“He’s a winner, and the fact that spirituality is so important to him is very appealing to me,” Kraft said, according to CBS Boston.
The report included two more quotes with the word “spirituality.” Kraft was speaking from a charity event in honor of his late wife, Myra:
– “For me personally, having Tim Tebow on this team, he’s someone who believes in spirituality, he’s very competitive, works hard and has a great attitude.”
– “You can’t have enough good people around you, and (Tebow) has the added dimension of spirituality being so important to him, and that personally appeals to me a lot."
Snip
Tebow will be an asset to the organization.
He is a hardworking, smart, dedicated, mature, spiritual, talented young man...what's not to like?
Good luck with that audit TT and the NE Patriots !

For many, the fact that he's hetero, therefore unable to come out of the locker. :D
Ahhhhh .... A match made in Heaven.

Yeah, haters gotta hate ! :D
This kid will, at a minimum, elevate the intensity in the Pats weight room...at UF he was one of the stronger guys on the team - as a QB.
Hard work is not a stranger to Tebow.
The PATS are gonna need all the help they can get on the 24th of November!:lifter

I was graduating UF when Tebow was a freshman and 1) he was not definitely not one of the strongest guys on the team in the weightroom. in fact, he was good because of intangibles like dedication, practice, learning the system, and decent reads at the line...but objectively he was slower and put up lower numbers than most on the team; and 2) he never had a gf. in fact, he often went home every weekend in the offseason.
I'm a huge Gator and I like Tebow a lot (I think the Bronco [well Elway really] and the Jets screwed him) and I wish he was on the 'Fins instead of the Pats. Or at least selling seats for the Jags. He's likely gay since he has no associations with any women, but who cares? Obviously there's tons of gays in football. It's not like nat'l security is on the line.

Hang around the weight room, did you?

It did not work out between Tebow and the Jets but that does not diminish Tebow's attributes...two of which are intensity and physical strength. It was the same story in college. Here is a little vignette by someone in a position to know.
Jets coach Rex Ryan was asked about Tebow’s intangibles after Thursday’s Organized Team Activity, and Ryan responded by talking about Tebow’s feats of strength.
“Let me give you a little story about Tim,” Ryan said. “I saw this in the weight room. A player had challenged him, holding these big huge sledgehammers. They held them doing this big iron cross kind of deal. The big lineman went first. [Tebow] said you want to go first or second. The big lineman said he’d go first. He went for about a 1:04, shaking. Tim went for 1:18. This guy is crazy with how strong he is and the kind of focus [he has]. I see that from him. He’s super competitive.”
It’s great that Tebow competes in the weight room, but does that really make much of a difference on the field? Ryan says it absolutely does. And although some would say Tebow relies too much on his strength and athleticism as a runner and still hasn’t learned to be an NFL passer, Ryan likes the way Tebow approaches the quarterback position."

When you're on a college sports team it's a requirement.
