"Wind Farms Get Pass On Golden Eagle Deaths"
http://www.philly.com/philly/business/technology/20130514_ap_apimpactwindfarmsgetpassoneagledeaths. html

After having their phone records subpeoned by DOJ, Ap turns on their darling. First, ABC. Now AP. The MSM is finally doing it's job as was it intended to according to the our Founding Fathers and framers of the Constitution. 'Bout time.

Oh Yeah! It's about time, but better late than never. The cool aid just might be wearing off. :D

Yea but their motives are all self centered. About time they pulled their head out of their four point of contact. Not sure why they thought they were immune from the almighty emperor, lesson learned on their part I guess.

Self centered? Of course. But welcome, nonetheless! Actually, it may be a win-win. Holder states that subpoenas were issued to investigate Admin leaks regarding counter-terrorism. Plenty of black eyes to go around.

Screwing with AP is probably one of the dumbest things he has done.

Don't worry everyone will be back on the reservation before the run up to the 2014 elections.

After all, they are all on the same side.

'Bout time.Given the partisanship of newspapers during the early national period, especially IRT the brawl between the Jeffersonians and the Federalists, would the framers be surprised by today's journalistic bias or would they be more surprised by the endless grousing about that bias?

I don't think any grousing would surprise the framers in the least, whereas bias apparently irritated them to no end.

The government also declared that senior officials in Washington, many of whom are political appointees, must approve any wind-farm prosecution. Normally, law-enforcement agents in the field have the authority to file charges with federal attorneys.

While all big cases are typically cleared through headquarters, such a blanket policy has never been applied to an entire industry, former officials said.

"It's over," Eicher said. "You'll never see a prosecution now."

Not so, says the Fish and Wildlife Service. It said it is investigating 18 bird-death cases involving wind-power facilities, and seven have been referred to the Justice Department. A spokesman for the Justice Department declined to discuss the status of those cases.Maybe the story is that "green energy" businesses are useful for the rhetoric, but expendable when needed. Maybe other fawning fad purveyors will observe & learn.
Ya sleep with the devil....

Separate question: As there aren't any ATC's on a wind-farm, under VFR isn't it the bird's responsiblity to maintain separation? Where's the NTSB in all this?
