Ok
I got a cetme that I had an H&K rear sight put on. Problem right now is sighting it in.

Iv got the rear sight as far right as it will go and POI is still 3 inches left at 25 yards.

The only thing I can think of is to replace the clamp screw with one with a smaller head and maybe that would allow the sight to shift more......

any suggestions?

Try the 200 0r 400 aperture.
Or swap out for another rear.

The front sight could be canted, but if it's cycling OK??

Something else that "might" work is filing down the set screw to give you another 16th of an inch of adjustment.

Something ain't right, that a lot of correction for 25 yards.....

Is it a parts gun? Who built it? I'm willing to guess the barrel trunion wasn't square to the reciever when it was welded. It doesn't take much to be WAY off. Course that's just a guess now. :p

JJ
Tried the other apetures, same left POI just slightly higher

Filing or replacing the set screw was my next step at this point

Concur.

The front sight is not aligned properly.

Is this a factory made gun, or a Frankenrifle? Note that Century counts as the latter.

JJ, the CETME/HK is a roller delayed blowback system. The front sight could be way off and it wouldn't affect function.

Keep the sight and swap the CETME for an HK. ;)

Yeah it's a century arms. Function is fine, actually a lot smoother than I expected.
Front site seems square but ill check it closer

So how do I check the receiver/barrel ?
Gunsmith it take it.

I plan on putting a scope on it for primary sighting.....
