My friend, a ret 06 Ranger, took a similar trip and enjoyed it a lot. Stayed on the boat, good food, open bar, and free wifi. Boat held about 30 people. His trip started in North VN, but the South VN part was just like your map..

Not getting the FULL experience here. ;)
If you are a licensed skydiver, you can make the jump on your own using their equipment. They have been around for a long time and use all the same military O2 equipment we use and follow all the same protocols, which is rare in the civilian skydiving community. I've actually seen them at the World Free Fall Convention a few years back doing prebreathing with people who were going up on a jump. If I recall correctly, the owner is a former SF guy and used to be the CDR at the Yuma school house. There is another place out on the west coast that does real HALOs but I haven't heard anything out of them in awhile.
I havent met too many civilian skydivers that want to jump with a ruck. Most want to do a 25k+ jump , but show them the ruck and they have no interest in jumping it. Can't say I blame them.;)

If you want the entire special operations package a MC-4 or 5 Halo/Haho parachute rig (if desired) is offered at an additional charge.
It must contain all of the suck if they wanna claim H.A.L.O status! :D
We only fun-jumped Hollywood when we absolutely had too!! :cool:
