My wife was at Walmart the other day and asked them if they still stock ammo, since she never finds any there. They told her that they still stock every morning at 0700. But, by 0600, there is a line from the sports section to the electronics section, about 1/4 the length of the store. It's longer by the time they are done stocking the shelves.

Most likely every time a store gets some in it shows up and I'm guessing it may be getting shipped from that store. :)

I got a can and it said it will be in the Buda Texas store for in store pickup on the 24th. Also check gunbot for ammo. I got some 223 from High Country Ammo. Gunbot list available ammo and updates all the time..

Sad to say, but that's a outstanding deal in light of the current market. I've refreshed throughout the day and haven't been able to lock a can in. I'll keep trying and appreciate the heads up, my son needs some sight time! :lifter

Thanks for the link. Need to get 22 LR ammo, but it is out of stock as others stated. I will periodically check.

Below is a link to a website that has 5.56/223 ammo and other ammo available. Prices aren't cheap at all, but it is one of the few sites that I have found that actually carry ammo in stock. FYI, I am in no way, shape or form related to the website.

I picked my ammo up from Buda store on the 21st. I sure got some looks from the other customers when I walked out with a can of 22 ammo. I now have enough for the grand kids this summer... :)
