Now that's some important information. I wonder how much that grant cost the US taxpayer? Money well spent IMO. Clearly describing a looming healthcare crisis. Thankfully Obama Care will be fully implemented next year to "head" this one off. Thank you BHO you're da man!

Are the TV ad from the class action lawyers, "You may be entitled to compensation. . . ", far behind? Easier to say than mesotheliomia.
Who's gonna be "Doug"?

sounds like Darwin is trying to clean the gene pool by using the zippers to cut these guys balls off.

For some reason, this story reminds me of the Destiny's Child song "I Got a New Way to Walk".

Slow news day - however, comedy writers have a difficult time coming up with gems like this excerpt:

"The study, which was published in BJU International..."

And for those of you who were thinking the obvious, you're wrong - it's Bob Jones University International. :D

And so it goes...

BAN ASSAULT ZIPPERS NOW

I would say this is not so much great news reporting as poor zipping technique.

I'm sure a multimillion dollar grant will follow to investigate zipping habits of those who sufferred injuries and/or looking for post-injury PTSD.

All the more reason to wear a kilt (or button-fly pants).

BAN ASSAULT ZIPPERS NOW

lol I actually wouldn't be surprised if Bloomberg did ban zippers at some point. Maybe during his 20th or 30th term.

Instead of a "Save the Ta Ta's" campaign, we should have a "Save the Pee Pee's" campaign!

Ban Assault Zippers... LMAO

That was fun. Who's laughing now?
As they say inside the Beltway "its all fun and games until it impacts the budget."

Air Force Grounds $345 Billion Experimental Uniform Program

"ARLINGTON, VA — Air Force officials confirmed Monday that they would be grounding the entire Experimental Uniform fleet after problems were discovered on one of the zippers, the latest setback amid a string of recent disasters.

Test wearers first noticed the problem during a routine maintenance wear, while attempting to use the bathroom. When airmen noticed their futuristic pants zippers sometimes caught on their lower fuselage, sometimes pushing them to the point of asphyxiation.
