“At this structural level, females might show greater efficiency requiring less neural material for achieving behavioral results on a par with males,”
Which would imply at equal mass, we males, quite possibly, would be at an extreme disadvantage?

I focused on the key words in the article.... "allegedly", "believe", "appears", and "might".
And remembered that more women than men voted for Obama.
Nuff said.

Naw, that's because the law of diminishing returns would apply...
Pink is for girrls!
If women are so smart, where is my sandwich???

Smaller just means efficiency is a pre-requisite to achieving par performance.
Why do neurologists study Sea Slug neural systems? Because they're smaller, less complex and hence more efficient (makes mapping cause and effect much easier).
Or - to bend an analogy - a Prius is efficient, a Corvette is fun, they're both transportation. Which would you rather drive?
No - I have not shared these observations with HH6. My 10lb brain may be less efficient per pound than hers but that doesn't mean I'm stupid.

She ate it. :D
