Interesting to ponder. I wonder what their lobbyist budgets must be about now.

Not expecting to see as many trash collectors and health services companies.
But in all this "real cutting" I notice its still all defense spending. Don't see that many real cuts on the entitlement side of things - well, except in what they are planning on doing to Military Retirements - which they consider an entitlement - which is where they can save some big bucks - which will come out of your (You new military folks) pocket.
Boeing doesn't show?? Strange,,

Certainly one of the biggest insults to service members. We offer decades of service and get paid back by being treated as though we are trying to cheat ourselves into an early retirement check, but crackheads, thugs and professional baby mamas continue to be treated as though the nation owes them a debt of gratitude.
Q: How do you spell 'leadership' ???
A: c.a.m.p.a.i.g.n. t.r.a.i.l.

I halfway expected them myself, but they have performed well with the commercial transport category market (777, 787, 747-8, etc...). 2012 was a good start to a comeback for the commercial aviation industry. Nevertheless, I would bet on a round of layoffs from Boeing defense as we get into 2013.

I'm a little surprised that those medical firms are at risk. I wonder how many of them are tied to Obamacare?

I was actually not surprised at the listing of all the medical related companies. Just by looking at the planned "savings" by attacking our hard earned benefits puts any kind of healthcare related company at risk. Add to that the start of Obamacare and I can see Tricare getting slashed even further.

Imagine some of them are are also importers/manufacturers in the med device biz (or hold interests in those that do). More Form 720's and 2.3% Obamacare tax, more overhead & slashed reimbursements for group holdings.
Ahhh... the high-cost of 'affordable' healthcare finally rears its ugly head.
