Just finished a shoot at Quanico, and ran into a MONTANA EXTREME rep. Had some good produts. Has anyone had a bad experience with ME?

I use it. No problems, unless you sniff the Bore Cleaner.

You are right it does have one hell of a bad scent. I have been pleased with it thus far. Later

The smell should not bother you, I've seen some of the places you've been in.....
Welcome Aboard JHB!!!!! Glad you could find the board and that someone helped you "write" a post. We'll work on keeping the words simple for you and the discussion on a third grade level so you'll feel comfortable.

A gunsmith friend of mine hooked me up with some. I liked it so much I threw away everything else I had been using and bought a selection of their products. ME makes Sweets seem like watery window cleaner. Follow the instructions and it's very effective without risking damage to your barrel. The only time I don't use it is when I'm using a "BoreSnake" for some quick field scrubbing. The boresnake's expensive and I don't want the ammonia in the ME to eat its integral brush. (They sell a nylon bore brush that resists the chemicals and still scrubs effectively.) I've found the rest of their products to be equally effective. FWIW - I like keeping all of my cleaning products from one manufacturer for chemical compatibility reasons (black magic juju) and ME is the first one I've had ready access to that had a broad range of products to meet all my needs - from precision rifles to carry guns and plinkers. Yes - I like the stuff. YIS - Peregrino
