I would have added that several of his closest associates have begun cooperating with U.S. and government forces and are considering defecting. :D

Yep, seems like the perfect opportunity for us to bolster support for Mullah Omar by electing a guy without any resolve at all. We could use a renewed and invigorated Taliban commad structure over there, right? :rolleyes:
