“I can’t stand the kind of paralysis that some people fall into because they’re not happy with the choices they’ve made. You live in a time when there are endless choices. … Money certainly helps, and having that kind of financial privilege goes a long way, but you don’t even have to have money for it. But you have to work on yourself. … Do something!”

I call phoney, fraud, and liar! The only reason this sad excuse for oxagen is even quoted is b/c she was married to a President...who screwed his staff members under ner nose, and then tried to lie about it...but became famous instead.

As others have questioned her comments compared to Romney's 47% and the reaction by the MSM - I wonder if this will be remembered in 2016, when she runs for POTUS?
I agree, she (at least as far as this comment goes) belongs in the republican or conservative party.

HollyMrs. Clinton is among the most powerful Americans in the world today. She's respected and admired by millions of Americans. Paying attention to what she says isn't just about being awed by "Fame, Hype, and Resume [sic]." It is also about paying attention to the world in which one lives.

I am no Hillary Clinton fan for a multitude of reasons. Having said that, I believe she made the statement below as a boss with respect to the type of work ethic she expects v. a politician.

I am right there with you. I am by no means a HRC supporter, but I agree with what she is saying in this piece. I am also of the opinion that if she was the current POTUS we would be in a much better place than we currently find ourselves.

At the end of almost four years of Obama-rule I am almost surprised to find myself agreeing with you.

Pointing out that the secretary of state (a) has offered sound guidance and (b) would have been a better president than the incumbent does not make those who offer such observations "fellow supporters" of Mrs. Clinton.

I look at Hillary Clinton as one of those people I would use to annoy a pain in the ass and make life in general difficult for someone I have to deal with in business, etc. But I wouldn't want to deal with her on a day to day basis. She is smart and tough but she is power-hungry. She has been corrupted and consumed by the pursuit of power.

I don't recall saying I admired her or that I believed she was an ethical person. What I attempted to convey is whether one likes her or not, I don't like working with whiners either, she is shrewd, and has an accomplished resume.
It was not an endorsement of her, her character or martial choices but rather a response to her comments in the article.

In a nutshell, the whole reason for "standing behind" BJ wasn't one of honor or faithfulness, but of greed for power. If you want me to present a detailed analysis, I have to defer due to time constraints. There are some here who may have the time to edify you in this regard.
Obama gave Hillary her station, and she has grossly screwed it up (Benghazi is a glaring example). She got the post (and her campaign debt paid off) for going unbitchingly into the night when Obama was burgeoning in his winning bid for a position that she desired (and still does). She had to stay married to Bill, or her aspirations would be doused, even those for 2016.

No need. It was this very event in history that catapulted and fueled my desire to reacquaint myself with the "Federalist / Anti-Federalist Papers". For the life of me I couldn't figure out how Constitutional Experts could have such differing views of the same documents. So I read them for myself to draw my own conclusions. It also was the start of my writing to representatives in congress and Chief Justice Rehnquist. I don't know her motives for the choices she made, Dusty. Again, my remarks were related to the article and not her character.

I was just getting involved in the 1990s with political stuff.. and as communicated in my response to Dusty, ironically, it was the BC / BJ incident that launched my desire to know more. I confess that prior to that my focus was very narrow but where it needed to be... caring for my family, career and perfecting my "baking cookies" recipe...
