Obama and Clinton both do not want to be held responsible for the negligence before and the cover-up after the Libya attacks.

Obama is shifty but the Clinton's are Old School political wheeler and dealers.
If they try to throw her under the bus he will get what he deserves. I am praying for them to push her under the bus.

But they are just "Bumps in the Road" unless the MSM picks up on it and makes something of it. They will not unless...they chose one over the other to protect a 2016 run for Hillary. O's been the media darling since '08 and if they can keep this out of the left leaning news the base will continue to point to the right with name calling and dismissal of the facts: President Obama's foreign policy is a failure and his DOS culpable and complicit for the deaths of four diplomats and the cover-up that followed.
I do not think that the Obama White House really wants to mess with America's first elected black president. This whole affair is just another nail in the coffin for O, I would like to think it will have a negative effect on his reelection bid but it will not be because the MSM held his feet to the fire over it. I heard an interview with Dick Cheney the other day and he stated that what bothers him the most about early voting is the fact that once you have voted there is no taking it back, either candidate could have a huge faux pas, something so terrible that there is no way you could vote for that person but you already have. This embassy fiasco would certainly qualify as one of those times. I had never looked at it that way before. There is no way that the king of blame accepts responsibility for this.

Madame Secretary has now proclaimed that the "buck stops with her," and that her State Department is responsible for the mess.
I think Hillary needs to go back and watch the movie Truman, about a Democrat President I truly admired, and listen to what Old Harry had to say about where the buck really stops.
i wonder what "the party" promised Hillary in order for her to draw the heat off of the POTUS.
At any rate. Secretary Clinton scores points for having the biggest balls in the current chain of command.
It takes a big man to shoulder the burden of "I take full responsibility"
Bravo, Secretary Clinton, Bravo.

Especially when you'll never hear those words from the presidents lips....

I must have misunderstood Harry Truman's statement. I didn't know he said, "The buck stops at the Secretary of State's desk." Live and learn.

I must of misunderstood Hillary in 2008 when she kept claiming the buck stops at the desk of President Bush. Evidently she meant unless it was President Obama. :munchin

I heard her statement and I think one could hardly say that she accepted full responsibility for what happend, watch the clip and come to your own conclusion. She sort of owns it with out owning it. We all know where the buck ought to stop.
