View Full Version : NFL 2012 season
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL !?!?!?!?!?
LET'S GO BRONCOS!!!!!
Here's hoping the Vegas odds makers know their stuff, and Manning stays healthy all year.
The wise guys are apparently sold on Peyton Manning. According to the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, the Broncos’ odds of winning the Super Bowl have improved to 10-to-1, which is tied for third with San Francisco and Houston.

I'm surprised that the Pack have now lost their last two home games counting the playoffs. They'll definitely be good this year, and probably edge it out in that brutal division, but I think the toughness factor they they possessed during the 2010-11 Super Bowl run isn't showing at the moment...
Football season also signals the return of cult hero John Clayton

Rayvns!
Looks like I'm pulling for the home team.. Go Houston now!!

That's who I'm looking at pulling for too.
Plus, Kubiak was a BRONCO for ohhh those many years. I knew he'd make a great team once he got down to Houston.

Well Heck... no way I'm pulling for the Ravens.. Never a Pats fan.. Heck with Matty.. I guess it be San Fran.
I'll say this, if Patriots go and win the superbowl.. It will be hard to argue that Tom Brady is the best QB to date. I know, I pissed most of you off with that statement. I'll say this, Tom Brady became the winningest quarterback in postseason play, him and Bill Belichick are one win away from reaching their sixth Super Bowl appearance together. Who can say that. I still hate Tom Brady.
I think I am routing for the Falcons now or I might just go to the range for the next few Sundays and wait until September!
Well Crap ... ... The Texans sure humped a bunk. Never been a Niners or Falcons fan, and I'm NOT in no way, no how, giving any type of cheer to the Pats, unless of course it's a "Bronx Cheer", so I guess that just leaves Baltimore.
Although it would be nice to see the Ravens get knocked off just so Ray Lewis would stop crying on the sidelines. There's been enough crying in football already this year.
But take heart Gents, the AVS schedule was just recently released .... http://avalanche.nhl.com/club/schedule.htm

I've sorta followed the Broncos from the Orange Crush days... and I do think Peyton is one of the alltime greats at the position... That momentary lapse of reason by the secondary really nutted things up (and the INT didn't help either)...
NE made an effort to give away the game late. Houston just couldn't capitalize, but I gotta stay with the Pats. Growing up with the "gay helmet" and crappy teams year after year...it's nice to see them putting together the package necessary to make it deep into the playoffs on a routine basis.
Can't go with the Ravens...
Atlanta stumbled in... San Fran played and won.
SF and NE on February 3rd.

I'm hoping for Atlanta and Baltimore, just because Ray Lewis and Tony Gonzalez are both near the end of their great careers, and I would like to see both get a chance to win a Super Bowl.
