Team Sergeant Edit, this story is not true, no Special Forces soldiers were killed.

LASHKAR GHAR, Afghanistan (Reuters) - An Afghan police commander and several of his men killed three U.S. soldiers in the southern province of Helmand, turning guns on them after inviting them to a dinner to discuss security, Afghan officials said on Friday.

RIP SOLDIERS!!!

Not that it makes much of a difference-
Latest MSM update has them as MARSOF vs USSF. Savages none the less...

I had a teammate shot down and killed in front of me by a disgruntled ARVN officer in March 1971. I haved relived that night over and over. My heart goes out to the families and friends of these brave Americans and my everlasting contempt to the treacherous bastards that killed them.

Rest in Peace to the 3 SF Soldiers who were MURDERED by the scum we call Allies. IMHO NO-ONE in that Shit Hole country from Karzi the drug dealer on down to the local Afghans we are attempting to "Train" to act as a civilized nation is worth the time and effort Let alone the cost in lives. BRING THE TROOPS HOME & LET THE AFGHANS KILL each other.
IF the Heroin business in Afghan is a problem? SPRAY the poppy plants with Tri-Butylin-Tin-Flouride....There is an end in sight; We the people must elect candidates who will end this BS which is costing the American Taxpayer Billions of $; FOR WHAT REASON......TK

I agree.

I think I am going to make a concealment vest the first thing that I put on every day during the upcoming vacation.

In regards to all of these incidents involving police and Army members turning on counterpart forces.............Where are the apologies from the Afghan side? We sure make a big deal out of apologizing for every little instance over there (some larger than other.....obviously) for weeks on end, but when something like this happens, its like you never hear a peep out of Afghan generals, or government officials.

I guess I should be upset that we don't have people in positions of power saying the same thing, but it doesn't surprise me.

For all of you guys that have dealt with the Afghan Police this prob isn't a huge surprise....the Police side of things has always been the most corrupt Govt. entity...prob more about a payoff for the deed than any political position.
In two years I met two honest Afghans and one of them was killed.

RIP. I would hope that revenge is high on the list of priorities, and it comes soon and is merciless for those responsible. I hope they are on their way to meet Allah already, and if the last words they hear prior to their ballistic labatomy are "Insha'Allah," all the better.

I agree with you and Mr. Kelly. When one of theirs is killed by someone from ISAF the whole Afghan govt.,Middle Eastern Media and even MSM goes ga-ga over it.

When something like this happens these scums say "It is due to retaliation for pissing on qurans and so on". I am so darn pissed at what happened.American forces are there cleaning up the mess that the nut-job Soviets left and Afghans escalated and this is what they(Soldiers) get?

It seems that the Afghans are also ungrateful SOB's like their Middle-Eastern pals.

This story isn't 100% accurate. I wouldn't quote yahoo stories. If you look elsewhere at some other more reputable news sites, you will get the details that are incorrect in this piece that will paint a different picture.

It's way too early for me to type details, just know, this story isn't really accurate, and they were MARSOC, not USSF.

Apparently my post came off the wrong way. I was not downplaying the event, nor was I saying that it was any less serious that it was MARSOC and not USSF.

Before people starting commenting on the details of the event, I was simply letting you guys know that they aren't accurate in that article. The only reason I brought up the MARSOC thing was for clarification of WHO it was, not because I consider them anything different.

Hope that clears up my original post.
