Caffeine is the world's most commonly used stimulant, and it's cheap and readily available so people can maintain their use of caffeine quite easily," says Roland Griffiths, Ph.D., professor of psychiatry and neuroscience at Johns Hopkins.

Evidently the good doctor has not had the benefit of VA coffee. If there is any caffine in it I haven't found it. Of course I have also had a running gun battle with the dietician who is not happy that my height and weight doesn't conform to her charts and wasn't really interested that the caffine level in the swill they serve could not raise the heart beat of a moth. What is interesting is that they will dispense percoset like M&Ms but don't want us getting hooked on caffine. Go figure. She really got excited this morning when she came in to make sure I was a member of the "clean plate brigade" and saw me sitting in my wheel chair with a sling rope and a couple of snap links rigged to a cane. She thought I was trying to hang myself when all I was doing was isometrics using the wheel chair handles as an anchor and the cane as a bar. Of course, the conversation went down hill when she asked why I didn't eat eggs and I responded that I didn't care to eat anything that came out of a chicken's butt. She has absolutely no sense of humor nor any idea that a person that is 5 feet 7 should weigh more than 165 pounds. I think this is going to a long couple of months with stick woman checking on me every chance she gets.

Great to see ya here Jack! Give 'em hell. I love these thin people who have perfect body weights, just the type I look for when we have to buck, split and stack 20,000 lbs of oak for firewood. Give 'em hell Sir! ps, there could be a reason you get all the pain killer you want...

Jack! You have found Nurse Ratchet! She was last seen in the movie "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest". I was wondering what happened to her.

Starbucks would go out of business and the state of Kalifornia would be even more screwed-up if they could not collect the taxes off a coffee sales.

Radiation from big-sreen TVs and cellphones are next...

I think the dentist talked to the nutritionist, and the nutritionist wanted to meet the guy offering to bite ladies on the tush. ;)

You might have something there. I feel like a training aid with the student nurses they have going thru this place. Some folks have been matched up with one but for some reason I have two. One on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday. I never had so much attention paid to me like this since a couple of black hats made me their personal project in jump school. :D
