These are a few rare Special Forces video I found being a key board commando at 5 in the morning jacked up on Cola, pizza , zero sleep and dwindling self respect ..lol

Ok but seriously, the videos are historic and pretty neat :D (There is no sound for any of the videos)

1) The First Video is a Special Forces soldier searching the body of a dying VC, SF found information on anti-tank mines, and tax collection documents

The second video is of some of the Son Tay Raiders returning home.

The GO speaking is BG Henry Emerson who was the CDR, JFKCENMA at the time.

I hope they didn't fly them all the way back from NKP on C-123's....

The 123's brought them up from Eglin.

We flew back to Bragg from Bliss one time on a 123 - That was a looonnnnnngggg flight and then they started their 'nap of the road map' low-level flying coming across the Appalachians - was never so glad to have the doors come open on an A/C and do a 90-degree turn around that big @$$ wheel well to exit in my life.

I find that fascinating that video 2 show cases some of those heros at Son Tay

I believe I read somewhere during that raid, SF troopers encountered Russian and Chinese military advisers. We may not have found prisoners but.....Hanoi got the message, and it gave hope to the POWs....

Thanks for the info

Yeah, no latex gloves, you did indeed dip your hands right in the goo. (No AIDs then but some of our blood supplies were getting tainted with hep.)

Good videos, good find. Amazing what coke and pizza will inspire.
