What a coincidence...I was just watching Gary Sinise on 60 Minutes online:

http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7408416n

He seems like a guy of genuine integrity and sincerity serving wounded veterans by treating them with respect and dignity.

So when's he running for higher office?

Simply, one of my favorite actors because of the support he gives to those who serve.

The Documentary Channel had a great show on last night about his band. They all seem modest and are great supporters of the military.

He's actually held a few free concerts at the Crown for soldiers and families.

Great guy.

They travel around and have been playing at Cantigny Gardens in Winfield IL for several years now. http://www.cantigny.org The proceeds benefit the local Operation Homefront organization IIRC.

The museum is really great, and the tour of the mansion provides a lot of history. The library, Sword Hall and especially Freedom Hall are incredible.

While our Dear Leader has been handing out Medal of Freedoms like candy to Hollywood supporters, true patriots like Gary have continued to support our brothers and sisters with unquestioned dedication, and without reward.

Either alone, or with the Lieutenant Dan Band, he has been one of the most ardent supporters of troops and vets since Bob Hope.

I have tried repeatedly to start a petition to have him awarded the Medal of Freedom, but it seems that most of our fellow citizens could give a shit.

Gary is a one-of-a-kind true American Patriot, and as many have thanked US for our service, I would love nothing better than to personally thank him for HIS service to, for, and on behalf of us.
