There use to be a white training guide that the SF recutier gave to prospects. I was issued one and followed it. I had no issues in selection.

This was in 1991 so I know it may be hard to find.

My question is: Does anyone have a copy or know where I can get a copy.

I have a lot of patients that do SFAS physicals through me and they always ask, "What do I need to do to get ready". My answer is always, "Do the white book".

I would like to get one, copy it, and issue it out.

IMHO there is no better physical training guide.

Thanks,
sf

I went to selection in 1999 from Ft. Campbell. The SF recruiter gave out PT pamphlets but I don't remember if they were plain white or not.

I think that the SOPC now does what we used to do on our own to get ready.

Go to this site and scroll down to around page 31... it has the old ruck march pt guide for SFAS.

That looks like it.

Thank you very much.

I am going to give this to every SM that comes to me for a SFAS physical.

You are quite welcome.

I am pretty sure that the recruiters still give everyone considering trying out for SFAS a copy as well.

What they choose to do with it is up to them.
