Here's an interesting article on the Obama Administration's impending decision to initiate a reduction in our nation's nuclear arsenal. I certainly cannot claim any expertise on this topic, but it would strike me that an efficient nuclear deterrent is conceivably this country's best "fall-back" card against grave threats to our national security, especially in the form of Iran or North Korea. Granted, the very notion of a nuclear conflict is something every sane person would hope to avoid, but when we live in a world of fanatics like Ahmadinejad and others, these weapons are undoubtedly necessary for deterrence....
