Egypt's President-elect Mohammed Mursi being sworn in
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-18656396
"Mohammed Mursi is being sworn in as the country's first civilian, democratically elected president at a historic ceremony in Cairo.
Mr Mursi, the Muslim Brotherhood's candidate, is to read the oath before the Supreme Constitutional Court.
He is then due to speak at Cairo University before going to an army base for the handover from military rule................"
His office claims he will appoint a Christian and a Woman as VP's. We'll see how that squares with the MB.
SCAF? We have yet to see how that will play out.
All in all - no mater what they say now - the end state will be pretty obvious a year from now. The question then becomes "Do we still intend to give them billions in aid?"
The elections and president turned out pretty much the way we said it would. Little bit more drama in the presidential election because of SCAF - but expected.
