Bill approved in State House could mean cheaper price on motorcyle insurance for soldiers

"RALEIGH - Soldiers who ride motorcycles could get a cheaper price on their motorcycle insurance under a bill that the state House approved on Wednesday and sent to the Senate.

Existing law provides for a discount for anyone, soldier or civilian, who takes a state-approved motorcycle safety class. Fayetteville Technical Community College offers these classes, for example....................."

All you military bike riders in NC might want to keep an eye on this. The Bill is a move to equate the On Post Safety Course to the State sponsored course offered off post for an insurance discount.

Refreshing anytime the number of hoops can be minimized for Soldiers. At our base the course is conducted on-post by a visiting local Tech Coll on a regular basis anyway. Good deal. I'll have to inquire if this applies in our state.
