Since my hunting buddy is taking this year off to take care some health issues, I put in for Deer, Elk and Bighorn Sheep tags in California today. We usually hunt out of state so I will use the money to take an extra hunt in state. I'm not expecting to get drawn for elk or bighorn but what the hell, you can't get drawn if you don't put in for it... Deer is not a problem. I put in for the three desert areas, of which my first choice doesn't usually sell out.
