Glow Ammo Cold Tracers: Non-Incendiary Ammo with Much Training and Tactical Potential (VIDEO)

I found this story interesting

"Glow Ammo is a new company that makes cold tracers. Cold tracers are small disks that can be pressed against the base of a bullet and after being shot, emit light. The cold tracers don't use phosphorus or other incendiary substances to emit light, they use a triboluminescent light source................."

Thanks for the link. Going to be picking up some of these when they come back in stock for 9mm. I'll report back any findings and perhaps some video.

That would be an interesting option for someone who didn't want to worry about starting a fire.

Many years ago I bought some unpackaged and unmarked 5.56 at a local gun show and later took some out to the hills to shoot with friends. I fired a few rounds from my AR and everyone about sh*t. We were in an area with a lot of dry brush but luckily didn't start a fire.

This caught my eye:
One interesting point of note is that these tracers can only be seen from behind the bullet, as the light from the tracer disk is blocked by the bullet for anyone downrange.

Stealth tracers!

The problem I see is no commercial rounds being available. So, if you don't reload, you can't use them. Unfortunately, I can't carry a reloading bench in my truck. I do see a great potential as a training round as mentioned in the article.
