One of my first posts on this forum was about my enlistment into the Army and into the 18x program. I stated I was awaiting results from MEPS medical about whether I would be cleared for active duty because of a broken arm.
The good news: I was just cleared!
Keeping my motivation levels to continue studying Army knowledge and continuing my PT/rehab regimen was hard with being in such an ambiguous situation (was in limbo for months). One of things that helped keep me going was the information and people on this website.
I mostly want to thank all the Quiet Professionals that so consistently show and encourage the sheer professionalism that I see here on this forum. It has only reinforced my will and determination to earn the title of Soldier and Quiet Professional in the future.
I sincerely appreciate all that you do I hope (and want) to be able to contribute to this community in the future.
I learned a lot from this experience: Surround yourself with those you love and trust, be extremely proactive in everything that concerns your health and your career, and keep on ruckin' no matter what happens!
