Anyone else read it?

It's basically autobiographical so you have to take it with a grain of salt. His early years seem interesting enough and its nice to see where he came from and what experiences he deemed best to present as what forged his character. He shares lessons learned as a young officer in SE Asia, Germany, and Korea. I liked getting his view on presenting a war plan for Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as his relationship with Donald Rumsfeld and President Bush.

As a brand new soldier myself, I didn't know much about him except that he was The General who led us into war a few years ago. So I don't know what type of spin, if any, he would put on the meetings and conversations he was privy to.

My dad gave me the book as a gift and I found it to be a good read.
