Reflections from an "old walrus":
After watching this video clip I couldn't help but reflect on what it was like 48 years ago with the donning of putting on my Green Beret which meant I've finished the course and earned the right to wear the badge of courage..........;) I and Maggie,filled with tears in her eyes realized that all the days I was unable to be at home with the kids,all the important anniversaries,birthdays,holidays I had to miss came to an end for now........ ;) Future deployments of course lie ahead but as for that day my wife and kids,Michael,Chris,Tony and Robby,are going out to celebrate daddy's proudest moment in his life..........;)
