Sweetage 526 Valentine Dinner for his Beautiful wife...

Premeditation, technique, execution, presentation. Professional in every way!

1. Menu - Classic style
2. Tuna Tartar, Cinnamon Apples and Cucumber - Fabulous!
3. Maine Lobster, Mushroom Rissoto
4. Seared Maine Diver Scallops, Vermouth Sauce
5. Plat Du Chocolate

Edit to add: 526 prepared this in his apartment kitchen, imo, thats quite a feat.

Exquisite is about the only word that comes to mind. The seared scallops look exceptionally tasty...

Nicely done - but what's with all the seafood? :D

My wife was in Denver so I had flowers delivered to her at her hotel. She got back home last night - I had fresh flowers on the table (it was mid-60s so we dined out on our patio). We had olive oil toasted California sourdough slices topped with tomato bruschetta and pesto with a Hartford Family 2010 Chardonnay while I grilled chipolte rubbed rib-eyes, asparagus spears (lightly coated with olive oil and herbs de provence), and sliced and grilled sweet red and orange bell peppers. We had a homemade dill potato salad to accompany the meal with a Sausal 2008 San Giovesse...and desert was... ;) ;)

I hope everybody enjoyed as nice a Valentine's Day!

Is it me, or is it that all the dishes have the look of a Freudian slip. Just sayin...but nicely done looks and sounds delicious. If you didn't do that on purpose "a beautiful mind", if you did, well... good for you.
