But, it won't replace the money that cold heartless bitch spent with her neutered and now recently deceased Johnsonless boyfriend.

We had a chili cook-off competition at work today. This should go over very well for the single but dating guys. :D
LOLOL!
This is a Hallmark Holiday. I heard a statistic that over 8 Million dollars are spent on this "holiday". Crazy.

Only $8M? I would expect $8B....
The wife and I boycott this holiday. As a matter of fact she is on her laptop ignoring me right now.....;)

I've never been a fan of this holiday - you shouldn't need a day to remind you to love your spouse and mate.
I am a fan of the more male-oriented version of this holiday on March 14th however. ;)

Last night, I took several handmade red paper hearts up to our local range. I passed them out to several guys and we had a field day with Cupid. Many of the guys were up there for date night.
To the dismay of their significant others, they quickly obliterated their bright red targets. I was too busy shooting and admiring their skill and precision to take more photos. One girl was seriously pissed at her man for saying, "Finally, I can get into the spirit of this stupid holiday!"
I may have inadvertently started a new V-day tradition for myself.
I've found, the only good thing about Valentine's Day is ..... there's a SH*T load of chocolate on sale at stores, marked down 50% or more.

FWIW, I think both holidays are irrational.

Either your Google-Fu is weak or you're pulling my leg. No red meat eating, sane man would consider 3/14 an irrational holiday.
I got a good laugh from my wife last year (after she did some research) when I called her from work on March 14 told her we should celebrate the holiday, and I would do my part by supplying the steaks. :D

I was a math major once...but the 3.14 holiday has much better meaning than pi. :D

Dang it. Tried to buy hubby a card for the occasion, but Hallmark doesn't make any. Best I could do was a sympathy card. :p
