No offense intended at all by this. I believe though that this article is a tad misleading.

While it's true that this has been said by some Australian officials, the article itself makes it appear that this is official government policy, which it isn't.

I do agree though that immigrants should adapt to the country they are in, rather than other way around.

I'm usually pretty darn good at checking these things out before posting but I totally didn't check this one out on Snopes this time.
